01 / CHANNEL MANAGEMENT
Your channels, ready when you need them.
Save up to 200 channel settings, scan stored channels and prepare your radio with compatible PC programming software. Fast channel copy and CTCSS/DCS search help with setup when a supported signal is available.
Wireless replication works between compatible radios. PC programming requires a compatible cable; inclusion depends on the selected package.
02 / LISTENING & MONITORING

Listen to AM airband communications or enjoy FM broadcast radio, with storage for up to 20 FM stations. Dual watch monitors two channel or frequency entries in turn, while the dual-line display keeps both entries in view.
AM airband and FM broadcast are receive-only. Dual watch does not provide simultaneous reception of two conversations.
03 / EVERYDAY CONTROLS
Hands-on control, without digging through menus.
Adjust the top power/volume knob, select the main channel with A/B and use the side PTT button to talk. The numeric keypad and programmable side keys keep supported functions within reach.
Choose High, Medium or Low transmit power, configure VOX for voice-operated transmission, or lock the keypad to reduce accidental input.

04 / FIRST USE
Get ready for your first call.
- Securely fit the antenna and battery before use.
- Switch the radio off and charge with the original desktop charger.
- Set compatible channel and signaling parameters on both radios.
- Hold PTT to speak, then release it to listen.
Charging note: the manual specifies USB-C for emergency charging. Keep the battery installed when using USB-C. Never transmit without the antenna fitted.
