Compact Design
The BF-5RMINI has a gray front panel, black outer housing, color display and full numeric keypad. Its body measures 52 × 107 × 37mm, excluding the antenna. Each radio weighs approximately 200g with its battery and antenna.

Dual PTT Controls
PTT-A transmits on the A operating row, while PTT-B transmits on the B operating row. This provides direct access to the selected row without repeatedly switching the main operating selection. Dual watch supports monitoring of the two configured rows; it does not provide simultaneous transmission.

Channel Setup Your Way
Use the keypad to enter frequencies and edit channel settings locally. Bluetooth programming is also available through the supported Android app, allowing settings to be read, edited and written to the radio. Bluetooth programming should not be confused with Bluetooth headset support.

999 Channel Memories
Store up to 999 channels, edit channel names, save channel settings and delete unused channels. Channel scan, frequency scan and CTCSS/DCS scan provide additional ways to work with your configured channels.

Each radio uses a 7.4V, 2200mAh rechargeable battery. The USB-C charging interface is located on the battery. Selectable 5W high and 2W low transmit power settings provide operating flexibility.

The radio supports AM airband reception and FM broadcast reception. These functions are receive-only and do not provide transmission on aviation or broadcast channels.
